Becoming Tobacco Free: A Symposium for Rhode Island Colleges and Universities

The Rhode Island Tobacco Control Program, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) and the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, will host Becoming Tobacco Free: A Symposium for Rhode Island Colleges and Universities on Monday, April 28th from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, 222 Richmond Street, Providence, RI 02903.

Key note speaker: Clifford Douglas, JD, Director, Tobacco-Free College Campus Initiative; Director, University of Michigan Tobacco Research Network; Consulting Tobacco Control Policy Advisor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

Your college or university need not already have a position on tobacco free campus policies. Please come and learn about the benefits and process for taking your campus tobacco free.
