Do you need to brush up on risk and protective factors and how to link them to universal, selective or indicated strategies? Would you like to learn more about the role of substance abuse in relation to the Continuum of Care model and how target populations impact the factors you address? Then join us for a training designed to help participants practice using some of these core concepts of substance abuse prevention.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

Describe the Continuum of Care Model
Identify examples of interventions that address universal, selective, and indicated populations
Describe risk and protective factors in multiple contexts and from the developmental perspective
Describe examples of risk and protective factors associated with common primary prevention strategies
