The "Facilitation Skills" training will be held at the Cumberland Public Library. This is the 2nd training of a three part Project Management series.
The role of a facilitator is to help lead an event or meeting toward a successful conclusion by planning, guiding and managing a group through the completion of agreed upon objectives.
The key objectives of The Basics of Facilitation session is for participants to:
- Identify their strengths and challenges when facilitating,
- Learn when to take a leadership role, when to be neutral, and when to seek facilitation assistance, and
- Learn tips on managing difficult situations.
