Then join us for a training designed to help participants practice using some of these core concepts of substance abuse prevention.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the Continuum of Care Model
  • Identify examples of interventions that address universal, selective, and indicated populations
  • Describe risk and protective factors in multiple contexts and from the developmental perspective
  • Describe examples of risk and protective factors associated with common primary prevention strategies
