Opiate Addiction and Overdose Prevention

This three-hour training will present information on the effects of opiates on the body and brain; differences between abuse, dependence and addiction; overdose prevention; effectiveness of Narcan/Naloxone in overdose prevention; how to access and administer Narcan/Naloxone. Registration is required.
