We need your help and your participation at these events. Abuse of prescription drugs is a dangerous and increasing problem, in part because these drugs are common in every home. Most people don't think of prescription drugs as being abused by children, but statistics show that children who abuse prescription drugs mostly find them in their own homes.
Drug overdoses are now a leading cause of accidental death in Rhode Island, with more people dying annually from overdoses than die from murder, arson and car accidents combined.
