The CAPT is hosting Prevention SustainAbilities: Understanding the Basics. This interactive, self-paced course offers practitioners a clear introduction to what sustainability means and looks like in the context of substance abuse prevention. Using a case-based approach, participants will explore a range of useful sustainability approaches; identify key ingredients for sustainability success; and begin to identify the elements of a useful sustainability plan.
The course will take approximately two hours to complete, though timing will vary depending on your familiarity with the content, your learning style, and competing demands on your time. This course has been endorsed by the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC). It may be used towards the education/training requirements for prevention specialist credentialing. On passing the assessment at the end of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for two hours of participation.
