Join us in promoting change at policy, systems and environmental levels to improve the health of low SES populations.

This conference will bring together a broad range of people who are invested in health equity and healthy communities to:

-Share emerging/promising policy, systems, and environmental change strategies and practices to improve the health outcomes of low SES communities

-Build the leadership capacity of attendees in reducing commercial tobacco use, increasing healthy eating and encouraging active living in low SES populations through policy and programmatic initiatives

-Facilitate cross-pollination of lessons learned and recommendations between the fields of tobacco and obesity prevention

This conference is unique in that it brings together the fields of tobacco control and obesity prevention, the goal being to facilitate a rich and fruitful dialogue to provide cross-cutting strategies and lessons learned to people working in one or both fields.
