Why get RBS Training? It's the LAW!
Anyone who serves alcoholic beverages is defined as working in a Pouring Establishment. All staff (including wait staff, door personnel, valet staff and owners/ managers) must be RBS Certified through a four-hour training by state law.
Anyone who sells alcoholic beverages is defined as working in a Non-Pouring Establishment; e.g.; liquor stores. Due to local ordinance, all alcohol license holders, anyone serving in a supervisory capacity and cashiers working in East Providence are required to obtain this certification.
The 21 Proof Training is an evidence based, state approved, Responsible Beverage Service Training. Staff will learn ID checking, laws, assessing customer intoxication levels, skills for handling customers and refusing sales. Upon successful completion, staff will receive RBS required certification.
