This CAPT training, will be held on Thursday 10/20 and Friday 10/28 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Warwick Public Library. Participants must attend both sessions.
Collaborations and partnerships are a critical component of substance misuse prevention. This two-part training will review several models of prevention and provide coalitions with a framework to support broad community engagement through collaborations across public health topics.
Training Objectives:
At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Define public health models and their connection to the Strategic Prevention Framework
- Identify benefits and challenges of collaboration across public health topics
- Identify potential actions to support collaboration across public health topics
