System of Care: Cultural Competency Training (Session I)

RICJ Cultural Competency training seeks to provide participants the opportunity to connect by identifying cultural identities and commonalities. It helps participants recognize the shared experience faced by new residents of American society, including their own families. Recognizing these commonalities will prepare participants to think about ethnicity and immigration in present day society as well as ancestors, and how this has influenced their own personal and organizational barriers to inclusion.
