DESCRIPTION:Hosted by New England PTTC & Collaborating with Central East PTTC\n\n\nPresenters:  Laura M. Borgelt\, Pharm. D.\, FCCP\, BCPS and Tricia Wright MD\, MS\, FACOG\, DFASAM \nAn estimated 7% of women are using cannabis during pregnancy. Although women may use it for medical reasons such as nausea or vomiting in pregnancy\, the prevalence of non-medical use is higher. Additionally\, employees in cannabis dispensaries are frequently recommending cannabis to these women. Many women and healthcare professionals are unaware of the potential risks to the fetus and mother.
