DESCRIPTION:This training will explore attitudes and views on suicide and interventions. Access to lethal means can determine whether a person who is suicidal lives or dies. This course will assist providers in developing effective safety plans for clients at risk of suicide. \nContinuing Education Credits:\nSocial Worker CEUs: This training is pending approval for 3.0 National Association of Social Workers continuing education credits.\nCertified Peer Recovery Specialist CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 3.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).\nChemical Dependency Professionals CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 3.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).\nMental Health Counselors CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Mental Health Counselors Association for 3.0 continuing education credits \nPlease Note: A pre-test is required to be taken before the training.
