SUMMARY:(Webinar): Medication- Assisted Treatment
DESCRIPTION:This training is being offered by: The Department of Behavioral Healthcare\, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals\, and The Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council of RI \nThis course will introduce the participant to the history of medication-assisted treatment in the United States\, and will provide and overview of the three medications currently FDA approved for the treatment of opioid use disorder. This training will also include a discussion of the changes in the laws regarding the treatment of opioid use disorder\, and the implications for the treatment system. \nPlease Note: A pre-test is required to be taken before the training. In order to receive a training certificate\, each participant must complete a post-test\, and training evaluation within ten (10) days of completing the training.  Instructions will be provided to the email address that you register with.
