SUMMARY:Mental Health Needs in Children & Adolescents: Screening and Treatment
DESCRIPTION:This training is being offered by: The Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council of RI in collaboration with the Rhode Island Coalition for Children and Families \nThis half-day workshop will review screening tools which assess the mental health and substance use treatment needs of youth.  Participants will be exposed to a variety of measures\, including structured interviews\, and will review diagnostic symptoms and psychiatric diagnosis that are relevant to youth.  Additionally\, the workshop will focus on some of the evidence based treatments available for youth\, and families\, related to these needs. \nPlease Note: A pre-test is required to be taken before the training. In order to receive a training certificate\, each participant must complete a post-test\, and training evaluation within ten (10) days of completing the training.  Instructions will be provided to the email address that you register with.
