DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has proposed the Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE) initiative to end the HIV epidemic in the United States. The President has requested $291 million in the FY 2020 HHS to begin carrying out the initiative\, which\, if funded\, will achieve maximum impact by first focusing efforts in communities that are most impacted by the HIV epidemic which include LGBTQ and people of color communities. LGBTQ centers must be involved in order to reach the EHE initiative goal to reduce new HIV infections by 90% in the next 10 years. \nRegister here.
