SUMMARY:Chris Herren Community Education Forum
DESCRIPTION:The SPC Regional Coalition SOR Grant will be hosting a community event with Chris Herren on Wednesday\, January 8th at 6:00 PM. This event will be a Community Education Forum to engage the community in learning about opioid use disorder and the opioid crisis. Specifically\, the forum will aim to increase public knowledge on the history of the problem\, signs/symptoms and how to identify opioid use\, effects on the user and family members\, and law enforcement strategies and resources available. This event is free and open to the public. The forum will consist of a panel presentation with a Q&A. Chris Herren will be the keynote speaker for this event.
