The RI Governor’s Council on Behavioral Health’s Prevention Advisory Committee is proud to host its first statewide prevention conference on January 10th, 2019 at the Community College of Rhode Island – Knight Campus. RI PREVCON 2019 will focus on best practices in substance use prevention and mental health promotion. RI PREVCON will take an in depth look at the latest research connecting substance use and mental health disorders to brain functioning. Participants will learn about the most current and innovative strategies to promote social and emotional wellness. RI PREVCON will also offer attendees an opportunity to network with colleagues from other disciplines to share best practices across the lifespan.
