Grant Writing Series: Planning for Successful Grant Writing & Problem Statements – Part 1

RIPRC, October 2025

This is a recording of the RIPRC/PTTC Grant Writing Series: Planning for Successful Grant Writing & Problem Statements training, presented by Drew Reynolds, PhD, MSW, MEd, on October 7, 2025. This is part 1 of the Grant Writing training series. By viewing this webinar, participants will learn how to effectively plan and prepare to write state and federal prevention grants – and to see grant-writing as an “engine” for an organization’s fiscal sustainability. Specifically, participants will select grants, create a grant timeline, write proposals, develop pre-written materials, build a grant-writing team, use common frameworks like SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework, demonstrate community engagement, and form effective partnerships with agreements.
