The community profiles describe all 39 Rhode Island municipalities, 4 counties, and the entire state in terms of substance use-related indicators and, where available, corresponding trends since 2000. The three components of these profiles are: data on demographic characteristics of each community and substance use consequences; data summarizing levels of substance use, as self reported by high-school students within each community; and data summarizing risk and protective factors relevant to substance use.
