Rhode Island Student Assistance Services and the Rhode Island Department of Health have recently released a new video on their YouTube channel, The Rhode Island Youth Mental Health Webinar Series. This video resource is called The Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACEs): Implications on Youth, and is hosted by Chris Dorval, LICSW, LCDCS, LCDP. In this video, participants can learn more about how major life experiences can result in trauma and what parents and educators can do to help. Contact hours are currently available for those who complete watching the video and take the post-survey.
