Become Insurance Credentialed
With the assistance of the workshop facilitator, attendee’s will complete the CAQH (Provider Data Portal) application as this is the portal all insurance companies use in their credentialing process. Attendees will also complete the state Medicaid/Medicare application and United Healthcare application. By the end of this workshop, attendees will have completed applications for the above insurances/& data portal.
Participants are REQUIRED to bring a laptop or tablet with them. You will connect to WIFI at CODAC.
Once participants complete this workshop, a second workshop will be scheduled to complete applications for Blue Cross of RI, Aetna, Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Cigna, and Neighborhood. The date for this workshop will be forthcoming. |

| Pre-Workshop Requirements:
1) Attendees must already hold one of the following: LCDP, LMFT, LMHC, and LICSW
Attendees must have active malpractice insurance and bring their policy number and information with them.
2) Attendee’s must have an active NPI number or be assigned one before this workshop.
3) Attendee’s must have an active license to practice and bring their license information with them.
4) Attendee’s must have their banking information with them to set up insurance payouts.
5) Attendee’s must either have a federal employer identification number or social security number to sign up to become providers.
6) Attendee’s must bring a laptop or tablet with WIFI access to this workshop. |

Facilitator:
Normand Brissette, MA, LCDP, CADC, CCSP
Has been working in the addictions and mental health field for over 24 years. His experience includes community mental health/substance use treatment, medicated assisted treatment, residential treatment, prison treatment and most recently, private practice. Normand has owned and operated his private practice for 5 years and has also helped many licensed professionals start their own practices.
