RI-PREVCON 2026

RI-PREVCON is a statewide prevention conference that focuses on the most current issues and information related to substance use prevention and mental health promotion, utilizing evidence-based strategies to reduce risk factors and enhance the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.

This year’s conference will be provided by both the RI Governor’s Council on Behavioral Health’s Prevention Advisory Committee and the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH), which will be held on May 15th, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, RI. RI PREVCON 2026— Community Roots, Resilient Futures: A Conference on Connection & Prevention reflects our shared commitment to strengthening communities, fostering meaningful connections, and building proactive strategies that support prevention and long term resilience. In addition, RI-PREVCON 2026 will offer attendees an opportunity to network with colleagues from other disciplines and share best practices across the lifespan.
