Sustaining a coalition and its work to create a healthy community requires engaging the support of community champions. This session will focus on how to be strategic and thoughtful about how to communicate the work of the coalition in a way that connects with key community stakeholders. Getting the right message to the right stakeholders will help sustaining the work.

Objectives:

• Review what sustainability planning aims to do.
• Understanding the correlation between communication and sustainability.
• Identify how to develop a list of key accomplishments related to coalition work, strategy implementation and utilization of the Strategic Prevention Framework.
• Discuss how to identify the target audience(s) and the key messages to communicate. Identify how and when the messages will be shared.
