October 8, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

This workshop will explore how the use of therapeutic theater creates healing and social change. Discussing her work with COAAST (Creating Outreach about Addiction Support Together), Moyer Bell will present the basic theory and practice of drama therapy and how it helps populations struggling with Substance Use Disorder. She will also lead participants through a drama therapy exercise. The workshop will allow for time to reflect on how drama therapy practices can be utilized by participants in their daily work as clinicians or peer recovery specialists.
