Cutting-Edge Ethical Issues in Social Work

This training will provide participants with an in-depth examination of compelling ethical and risk-management challenges in social work. Frederic Reamer will explore high-risk ethical issues and practical strategies designed to protect clients and practitioners.The training will include a series of challenging ethics cases and explore practical steps that professionals can take to manage ethical issues skillfully. Dr. Reamer will discuss cutting-edgeethical issues in the profession; new NASW Code of ethics standards; relevant federal and Rhode Island statutes and regulations; recent case law; and emerging national practice standards.
