Discovering the Best in You and Your Prevention Team: Leveraging Personality Insights for Prevention Success – Session 1

September 21 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

This is part 1 of a two-part training series on prevention collaboration, leadership, and team effectiveness. Participants will explore different personality preferences and leadership styles, gaining practical strategies for leveraging their individual strengths and addressing their personal challenges as a team member. Each registrant will be emailed a short Personality Type survey for them to complete and score prior to the class.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the theory behind Jungian Type Theory and its application to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and True Colors framework.
  • Identify their own personal style and describe those of other team members
  • Explore typical characteristics of personality types using the True Colors and its relationship to specific leadership traits.
  • Apply the True Colors concepts to real-world prevention team and coalition scenarios.
