Audiences do not nee to see Act 1 to understand Act 2.

Commissioned by Trinity Repertory Company, Act 2 follows Sam, recently release from an inpatient addition treatment program as we pull up a seat beside her in outpatient group therapy.

Through the stories that unfold inside the group, we’re exposed to the successes o recovery and the heartbreak of relapse and fin the intimate space that exists between therapist and patient, patient and peer, and patient and disease.

Play runs 60 minutes, followed by a 20-minute talk-back with the playwright and cast. Cast members are professional actors with a direct personal experience with addiction.
