Caregiving for grandchildren is a unique experience that can put a strain on family dynamics in many different ways. Child & Family, in collaboration with the Newport County Prevention Coalition, offers a support group for grandparents who are the primary caregivers to their grandchildren, providing an opportunity to come together and mutually support each other. In addition, the Grandfamily Support Initiative also services to connect grandfamilies to resources specific to their unique needs.
