Project Weber/RENEW and The City of Providence are hosting a free Narcan and overdose response training for all community partners and staff who work in restaurants, bars, clubs, venues, and other hospitality and/or nightlife-oriented industries. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, administer Narcan, and care for the person until Emergency Services arrives. Narcan, or naloxone, can be used to reverse an opioid overdose.
