The RI Governor’s Council on Behavioral Health’s Prevention Advisory Committee is proud to host its second statewide prevention conference (PREVCON) on April 5, 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located in Warwick, RI. RI PREVCON 2022—Prevention without Barriers: Applying an Equity-based Lens—will focus on the most current issues and information pertaining to substance use prevention, mental health promotion, and the intersection of prevention and equity. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from different experts about strategies for applying an equity-based lens to promote inclusivity, foster collaboration, and advance health equity through prevention.
