Promoting Psychological Wellbeing in Individuals and Communities for Prevention Specialists
This three-hour, small group session will focus on psychological well-being for the individual working in prevention as well as the community they serve. A focus on well-being and connection. Limited to 30 New England Prevention Specialists and not be recorded, this session is designed to build capacity among members of the workforce on a personal and professional level. Attendees who have taken a psychological first aid class may appreciate connected themes.
About the webinar: This webinar was developed to address a need identified in HHS Region 1 (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI) to provide substance misuse prevention professionals with tools for substance misuse prevention and gambling prevention. This webinar is hosted through the New England Prevention Technology Transfer Center, a program funded through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA), SAMHSA Cooperative Agreement #5H79SP081020-03.
