PTSD: Trauma Informed Care is an all day training in which participants will learn skills that assist in treating PTSD, include understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of all types of trauma.

This training will provide an overview of trauma related brain chemistry, differential diagnoses between Acute Stress Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress disorder, and will address physical and emotional safety for both clients and treatment personnel. This training uses is a strengths based approach that will help survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.
