This presentation is tailored for individuals working in environments where suicide risk assessments are conducted. Participants will discuss less stigmatizing language to utilize as it relates to suicide. Statistically relevant data regarding at risk or increased risk populations will be reviewed. Participants will have an opportunity to identify warning signs and utilize practical measures when working with patients who self-report suicidality. Also, a brief overview of Evidence based screening assessment tools for medical settings will be discussed.
