1. Participants will improve abilities to identify common sources of conflict within coalitions, workplaces, and community groups and apply restorative, relationship-centered approaches to address them.
2. Members will strengthen communication skills for navigating difficult conversations, including managing gossip, interpersonal tensions, and differing expectations among staff and partners.
3. Staff will learn real-world strategies for engaging a range of perspectives while promoting shared decision-making and effective participation.
4. Participants will practice engaging in respectful discussion around sensitive or polarizing community topics (e.g., community opinions on marijuana) without escalating conflict or alienating stakeholders.
