The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Free Mind campaign is a national youth-focused resource that raises awareness about the connection between mental health and substance use. Designed primarily for teens ages 12–17 and the adults who support them, the resource provides information, tools, and conversation starters to help young people understand the risks of drug use, build healthy coping skills, and seek help when needed. It also offers educational materials for parents and caregivers to support open discussions and help prevent substance use, addiction, and overdose among youth.
