Prevention is Hope – Celebrating Ten Years of the Rhode Island Prevention Resource Center

The Rhode Island Prevention Resource Center (RIPRC), June, 2022

The Rhode Island Prevention Resource Center (RIPRC) celebrates its tenth anniversary in this video series, Prevention is Hope. The RIPRC is dedicated to providing training, technical assistance, and capacity-building resources to substance abuse prevention providers and their community partners. Sponsored by the RI Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH), the RIPRC has partnered with an array of providers who service a diverse community base. Our role is to ensure the state and community prevention system has access to workforce development and capacity-building opportunities that meet their needs and evolve with the field. Check out this 4-part video series and letter from RIPRC Director, Shannon Spurlock, to learn more about the RIPRC’s past ten years of prevention work in Rhode Island!
