RI PREVCON 2019 Session – Rhode Island’s Pledge to Change Direction
Hospital Association of Rhode Island, 2019
The Campaign to Change Direction is an international public health initiative that aims to normalize mental health conversations through the use of a common language, known as “The Five Signs of Emotional Suffering.” In May 2018, the Hospital Association of Rhode Island (HARI) pledged to lead the state in this important public health initiative. This presentation is intended to guide viewers through an overview of The Campaign to Change Direction and provide a detailed update of HARI’s statewide efforts. The workshop was presented at RI PREVCON 2019 by HARI President Teresa Paiva Weed, HARI Director of External Affairs Lisa Tomasso, and HARI Communications Coordinator Kayla Mudge.
