This session will include an overview of social media platforms, best practices for prevention providers, and how to reach target audiences, as well as a discussion on creating and maintaining a social media strategy for both individuals and organizations.

Objectives:

  1. Participants will learn best practices related to social media platforms for prevention providers.
  2. Participants will identify SMART goals for their organization’s social media strategy.
  3. Participants will identify their organization’s priority audiences and the unique qualities and needs of each.
  4. Participants will identify the social media platforms best suited for reaching their priority audiences.
