Joe Hyde’s presentation slides: introduce Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) as a comprehensive, integrated, public health approach to the delivery of clinically-preventative, early intervention and treatment services. SBIRT is used for persons with substance use disorders and those at higher levels of risk.
