Cannabis Conversations: A Toolkit for Communities with a Harm Reduction Lens

Cannabis Conversations: A Toolkit for Communities with a Harm Reduction Lens is intended to prepare prevention specialist and communities to have effective conversations around cannabis use. The goals of this paper are to provide non-stigmatizing, factual examples of youth cannabis prevention messaging that incorporates a harm reduction lens. “Cannabis is the third most commonly used drug in the world, following tobacco and alcohol.” (Harm reduction – the cannabis paradox, pg. 1) so it is important to have a universal standard for discussing the use of cannabis and its negative and positive health impacts.
