This is a recording of the RIPRC’s Leveraging AI and Online Experiences for Improving Exposure and Active Choosing of Positive Experiences by Youth, presented by Dr. Richard Booth on December 2nd, 2025. By viewing this webinar, participants will be able to identify key positive childhood experiences (PCEs) and describe how they contribute to youth resilience and protective factors against substance misuse, including ways social media can either enhance or diminish these experiences. Participants will also examine considerations and emerging guidance for youth, providers, and organizations related to improving positive social media use and the integration of AI tools in prevention messaging. Lastly, participants will be able to develop strategies for improving positive youth experiences online including practical approaches for amplifying PCEs and exploring how positive experiences and images improve health youth relationships and practices.
